Venison Steak With Gravy

 

1 ½ - 2 pounds venison steak

1 large onion

Salt and pepper

2 bouillon cubes (beef)

Noodles, rice, or potatoes

 

Prepare in metal Dutch oven or fry pan with high sides. Brown steaks and remove from pan. Slice onion and brown in pan. Return steak to pan. Dissolve 2 bouillon cubes in 2-cup boiling water and pour over meat. Cover and simmer 30-45 minutes. Thicken gravy and serve over noodles, rice or potatoes.
