Fried Green Beans

6 bacon strips

medium onion

quart canned or fresh green beans
Slice
bacon to 1-inch pieces and dice onion. In large frying pan, sauté bacon bits
and onion. Add beans, cover and simmer on medium low heat, turning beans
occasionally. For fresh beans cook about 35 to 45 minutes or until tender. For
canned beans cook 15 to 20 minutes.
